A beautiful start to my day! I parallel parked successfully the first time (don't judge - it is hard to learn!) And had a delicious brunch with Seds and Mandz at Urth Caffe in Downtown (post on that tomorrow.) This fall weather has me into my folk music to an absurd extent. Right now, I have Wild Child on repeat and love the song PIllow Talk:
Pillow Talk (full album available Oct. 25) by WildChildSounds

{Music Monday} Greg's Recs
So I've been in a music quandary lately, hopping back and forth between Jay-Z's new stuff and indie-folk from last summer. It's been frustrating. So I accosted my new law school friend, Greg, on FB chat for music recs after hearing that he liked Bon Iver (sure win) and also that he had been to the Wild Beasts concert recently. So here are Greg's suggestions for indie/folk/chill music that is perfect for studying. I hadn't heard Youth Lagoon before and now they are on repeat. And Twin Sister I hadn't previously been a huge fan of, but on a second try, I'm finding them oddly appealing.
Check it out and thank you Greg!

25 Days...
Till I am home! I am oh-so-excited to see my family but I can't believe that this term has sped by so fast. But looking back, it was quite the drama-/fun-/crazy-filled few weeks. Some highlights so far:
1. Partying at Whisky Mist, where the girls and I were gifted with a table and bottle service.
2. A Friday night trip to the ER following the episode of projectile vomiting by a random in our kitchen (and they were unrelated incidents.)
3. The relaxing trip to Brighton with girls
4. Too much shopping: Dresses, Coachella wardrobe and Shoes :-)
5. Discovering the delicious music of First Aid Kit, Young Prisms, Joe Gil, James Vincent McMorrow, Adele, and some amazing covers.
6. A visit to a London police station after my friend got mugged.
7. An amazing trip to Oxford, complete with a pub crawl and cookies.
