Till I am home! I am oh-so-excited to see my family but I can't believe that this term has sped by so fast. But looking back, it was quite the drama-/fun-/crazy-filled few weeks. Some highlights so far:
1. Partying at Whisky Mist, where the girls and I were gifted with a table and bottle service.
2. A Friday night trip to the ER following the episode of projectile vomiting by a random in our kitchen (and they were unrelated incidents.)
So I'm excited because I bought tickets to see Bob Dylan for my brother, mom, dad and me this summer - I killed three birds with a very large stone because I'm claiming it's their birthday presents :-)
Plus, WE GET TO SEE THE LEGEND HIMSELF! Even if his voice is waning, it's Bob. Bob Dylan. BOB DYLAN.
But these were their reactions after I emailed them:
Jason: No response. (Totally standard - the ungrateful little thing he is, although I still absolutely adore him.)
My mom: "Well, I also want to go to see Santana in Vegas. Can you work on that?"
My dad (slightly better): "Awwwwww!!! you are SUCH A LOVING DAUGHTER!!! Thank you so MUCH dear...If your mother is as thrilled as I am...then ALL IS GOOD!!!!"
(However, his overuse of exclamation points, inexplicable capitalization and his obvious knowledge of my mother's demands annoyed me.)
Anyway, I'm excited to see Bob, even if my family will take some time to build up enthusiasm.
Also, I've decided to sell organs to pay for all this - my liver is shot, but I have an extra kidney. Maybe I'll donate eggs - If you want a child with the musical talent of both Beyonce and Jay-Z who can read really really well, then definitely shoot me an email.
