{Travel} Oxford!
The past few days, I have been in Oxford with Cailin and I had the most amazing time, eating the most amazing food and trying some delish local beers. We went out both nights - the first night on a mini-pub crawl. The pubs included The Eagle and Child, of Tolkien and CS Lewis fame and the Turf Tavern, which is famous for where Bill Clinton "did not inhale." Also, found my new favorite beer at the Royal Oak, called Ubu. Later we indulged in falafels and hummus. Yum. On Saturday, we started off the morning with the most delicious orange chocolate and triple chocolate cookies at Ben's Then we went to a gender and development conference, which was extremely motivating followed by a high tea at the Grand Cafe, where we indulged in smoked salmon sandwiches and scones. We finished off the afternoon watching Sex in the City. Last night, we went to a "BOP" at St. Johns with Cailin's amazing friend Emily and we indulged AGAIN in hummus and falafel and fries and cheese. (Yeah, I'm not going to be eating this week.) This morning, I attended Cailin and Emily's soccer game and headed home. I had so much fun and can't wait to go back to Oxford. Thank you Cailin for being such an amazing hostess! xoxo
