Yay - I finally committed!

...to the rain.

Anyone in London can tell you I have refused to submit to the rain since I got here. For one month, I pranced merrily around and managed to avoid water falling from the sky. I just would miss it. It would happen when I was in class or the library or I would conveniently sneak into a pub/cafe to avoid it. However, this past Saturday, I got caught in the rain and bought a crappy, overpriced umbrella from a stand and realized I could no longer live in denial.

So then I bought these beauties, which have been circulating the blogosphere since they were released a couple of months ago from Loeffler-Randler.

{Blog Love} Bleubird Vintage

Miss James inspired me to blog and thrift and take photos. I want to go to Austin because of her amazing accounts of her city. I listen to the music she posts. And after the birth of her little Gemma Bird, I'm actually excited about the prospect (in a number of years) to have an adorable family. She is dedicated, fashionable and creative blogger. I just love her (obviously) and feel like she is my cool older sister. I hope that in the coming months that I stay creative and stay dedicated to my own blog. {Travel} Paris Plans

So after complaining about missing Paris, my friend Becky emailed me and said that when she comes, she wants to go to Paris. So we scoured the EuroStar, EasyJet, Wizz and Ryan Air websites looking for deals...
AND we are going to Paris Friday, Nov. 19 to Monday, Nov. 21. I'm so excited to go back to Paris. Last time was a whirlwind and I can't wait to experience the city again - without the jetlag.
Some of the things on the itinerary:

1. Au Petit Bonheur La Chance: vintage knickknack store.

2. Chez Janou: we spent hours looking for this place last time we went. literally hours. in the rain. I am finding this place. and I am eating there.
3. gelato at almorino
4. Sainte Chapelle

5. Musée d'Orsay: Degas and Monet. Yes, please.
6. OMG I just found out we'll be there the weekend all the seasonal decorations are put up. Yes!
7. Porte de Clignancourt (Clignancourt Flea Market): Parisian treats - need I say more?

Other than that, I plan on inhaling pastries, coffee and wine.
