Sweet Saturday

Despite the chilly breeze (yay-I've already acclimated to CA sunshine,) my day is wonderful. Walked the trails with Becky, enjoyed crepes with my mom, and now I'm finishing up some work, some applications, some readings, and some writing. Planning on a trip to my aunt's to see my my munchkins tomorrow. And have a beach day, LA day, and apartment hunting day before COACHELLA! and SANTA CRUZ! I'm so excited to finish my papers so I can bask in the gloriousness of being lazy in Santa Cruz and enjoying seeing Carrie and Cassi and Aimee and my brother and my Santa Cruz peeps. And also to start thinking about my apartment with Seda when I move back to LA :-)

Yesterday was also a good day - brunch with KB at Novel (oh, how I miss Novel,) a day at YRL and then In and Out with Grant. Animal-style cheeseburger = main motivation to move back to California. Ended the night catching up with un amigo mejor - v. productive... -ish, lol...

Other things I'm looking forward to:
-my 30 day Bikram challenge when I get back to London
-returning to vegetarianism when I'm done with my Masters (already phasing back in, minus In and Out)
-planning my summer trips (hopefully, there will be a lot of them)
-finishing these papers, finals and my dissertation... I wish I could fast forward that part.

Crazy few days including a very successful thrifting expedition with Nathalie and then jaunt to The Standard on Saturday with Rob, Scott, Becky and Marianne to meet mah gurlz, Mandy, Seda and Aline :-) Then a delish Indian dinner made by my mom on Sunday with Katherine and Hannah. Yesterday, I trekked to UCLA to get some books for my papers and some coffee meetups as well as picking up my diploma. Then I had the absolute pleasure of having a sleepover with Tawsh and Rob last night followed by a nice, long walk on the trails with Kels. For the next few days, I have to have my nose to the grindstone. Coachella is next Friday and then I'm in Santa Cruz for almost two weeks, so time to get those papers done now.

Weekend and {Music} The Generationals

A light and airy song for a relaxingly busy day. Thrifting with NJ, maybe brunch with Becky, reunited with my roomies and a jaunt (hopefully) with my Santa Cruz loves. And I hope to have photos documenting my whole day :-) I'm re-obsessed with my camera again. Tomorrow, lunching with my Paigey Poo and Cailin and then my mom is doing an Indian dinner for some family friends Yesterday, was amazing - visited my new school and hung out with a VIP. Sipping on Columbian coffee and blogging. Do I have the life or what? So glad to have things to do after my long jetlag recovery. xx
