Last Friday, V, Aline, Evan and I splurged at Cliff's Edge - a restaurant off Sunset in Silverlake with a gorgeous patio and delicious food. It was a going away dinner/birthday extravaganza with a few bottles of wine and some dramatic fig issues.
On the menu: diver scallops, pork belly, mussels, potato fritters, squash blossoms, and agnolotti with bacon cream sauce. Dessert included a chocolate terrine (too rich for my blood) and a really beautiful butterscotch pudding.
I would definitely go back - the bar is full of hot bartenders, good wine selection, and the patio is gorgeous.
Afterward, V, Aline and I hit up the Virgil for Aline's friends EP release. Check it out - Wild Betsy.
